Entrepreneurs learn how to promote business and enter competition

Cyberspace Pioneer Omar Wasow makes a point at the MillerCoors Urban Entrepreneurs Business Seminar (MUES) held in Milwaukee on October 18.  Keynote speaker Wasow addressed an audience of more than 100 up-and-coming business owners, who attended the free daylong session. Wasow, founder of Blackplanet.com, New York Online and Internet analyst for NBC-TV, shared key business lessons with the attendees.  The seminar included three panels on the topics of Small Business Survival: How to Launch and Maintain During
Tough Economic Times; Globalization: Small Business—How to Think Global; and Ask the Experts - The Business Plan Competition: How to Separate Your Plan from the Crowd.
The national, award-winning MillerCoors business plan competition has entered its ninth consecutive year and transitions from its well-known seminar series to a Web 2.0 format, utilizing more methods of viral communication, Webinars, Blogs, MUES Talk and MUES TV.
