Seniors and caregivers will receive valuable tips to fight fraud

Insurance Commissioner Kim Holland will speak to seniors and caregivers about fraud prevention at 9:30 a.m., Saturday, November 8, at the 2008 Upside of Aging Expo at the Tulsa Fairgrounds.
The 4th annual Upside of Aging Expo, an Oklahoma Seniors Against Fraud event will be held Saturday, November 8, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. At 9:30 a.m., Insurance Commissioner Kim Holland, District Attorney Tim Harris and Major Matt Kirkland will speak about how to avoid Internet, telemarketing and insurance scams.
This event is Free and open to the public.
The Upside of Aging Expo is put on by the Triad Committee – a partnership committed to educating and protecting vulnerable adults from fraud. The Oklahoma Insurance Department partners the Tulsa Triad group to educate seniors about insurance fraud, including fraud in Medicare and Medicaid.
