Double Up Oklahoma Summer Vegetation Program With The Tulsa Food Bank

The Oklahoma Eagle Newswire
Double Up Oklahoma Program —free fruits and vegetables up to $20, when using your SNAP access card. Spend a $1, we will match $1  at Cherry St. Farmers Market, Tulsa Farmers Market and R& G Grocery!
We have much to be thankful for. The weather has cooperated well, and our gardens are producing bountiful harvest!  If you do not garden,  but are interested in locating locally grown food, you are in luck!
The Tulsa County Local Food Guides make it easier for eaters to find locally produced foods at farmers markets,  farm stands, farms, and community gardens.
The guides are available at the Oklahoma Eagle, and at all Tulsa County library branches. You can also pick one up at  the Tulsa County OSU Cooperative Extension office,  farmers markets,  or online at www.localfoodweek.org
Sponsors include: OK Farm and Food Alliance, TSET and the Healthy Living Program.
Contact Rita Scott @ 918.640.5408 or rita@okfarmandfood.org for more information.
