As I sat there 24 hours from a man of color becoming the President of the United States of America, I must say that this has been the most rewarding event I have ever participated in. I look back over my life and all the great things I’ve been blessed to be a part of from NFL Super Bowls to NBA All Star weekends, nothing will ever be able to top working on the Barak Obama campaign.

I am truly proud of my community effort in every aspect from rides to the polls to simply having a yard marker for your candidate. You completed this phase of the task. Now as a community we must remain focused with our purpose at hand: change let’s not let this moment pass us by.

We are living in the prophetic manifestation of Martin Luther King’s “I have a dream vision” so this simply means that we have all the powers of righteousness with and for us not only as a race but as a nation.
I would personally like to thank all of the organizations that participated with us in our community outreach for registration, awareness and transportation assistance.

The Oklahoma Eagle newspaper, theoklahomaeagle.net, Sweet Lisa’s Café, Millennium Concepts, Agape outreach Ministries, Metropolitan Baptist Church, The Oklahoma for Obama Campaign, Vision Family Ministries, and Bigelow’s Funeral Home and all of the great individuals who assisted us along the way.
